Key Outcomes

Identifying and understanding personal barriers to participating in a palliative care team are explored. The creation of an effective interdisciplinary team and the importance of cohesive teamwork is discussed. Skills are introduced including the power of listening and honoring patient and caregiver choices, as well as successfully navigating difficult conversations.
